The crew showed up on time, on Thursday, introduced themselves and immediately got to work stripping the shingles. They got us to a point of "weather tight" by the end of the first day. They were back the next day and started laying shingles and repairing all of the old damage and some rotted boards. They got to a point of having about an hour's work left when a thunder storm blew through. They returned first thing on Saturday to finish the job and clean up. These guys conducted themselves as professionals throughout the process. Everything is "yes sir" and "yes Ma'am". I had no issues with leaving them here with my wife in charge. "Slow and hard! It was a big job, but Jason worked with us well. The crew was fun to work with, and I was often up there just to hang out and watch. Once I took advantage of them having their ladders out, and took my chimney brush up to sweep - one of the fellows took the brush from me and did a great job. I had the roof lines that I wanted, but Jason helped with applying those to the "real world" and we made adjustments on the fly, me downstairs on CAD and him on the roof. He advised me on the false dormer proportions, roof slopes and overhangs, and I liked his ideas better. We told him our toddler grandchildren would be in the yard and driveway a lot, and he kept after the nails well. He advised on gutter sizes; those are commercial size gutters in from to handle the area and valleys draining into relatively short gutters, and it's working well. He coordinated with our electrician and the window installers, no problems there. Below are before and after pictures. Excellent! They matched the shingle (I didn't know the brand / type), replaced what needed replaced, and found and sealed the new leak. Work Completed: My Roof Shingles Were Damaged During A Heavy Wind Storm. A Section Broke Free From The Rest Of The Shingles, And Threatened To Slide Off. Another Section Developed A Leak.
My mother recently had her enclosed back porch demoed and opened up. I felt like the price she paid to get that taken care of was a bit much but I wasn't able to be there for those bids. When she wanted to get new siding under the roof and the porch columns weather proofed, I reached out to a friend who had recently gotten her siding redone and she recommended Pearce Remodeling. My had bids from other contractors and because of work, I was only able to be there for one of them besides for Pearce Remodeling. Jason went into DETAIL about what would need to be done in order for it to be DONE CORRECTLY and why. He was very professional and personable and didn't make us feel stupid when we asked questions :) He told us he would contact us with an estimate as soon as he priced out the materials. Once he left, my mother and I talked. She wanted to go with him because of his attentiveness to the details and that she really didnt care if it cost a little bit more because of how detailed and transparent he was. Jason sent over the bid and the price difference wasnt that much more than the other contractors we recieved bids from. We accepted his bid. He made us aware that it might be two or three weeks before he could start the project and we were okay with that. He came and completed everything in a timely manor. I would recommend him for everything! Had Drainage Issues On My Driveway And Around Property That Needed Addressed. The work was completed much quicker than I anticipated and the crew went above and beyond my expectations.
